WINC members want a rural location for the cohousing community. After months of study of small towns, we decided on Daylesford in Central Victoria. As many will know, Daylesford is a beautiful small town of around 2500 residents (on weekends and holidays, lots more), set in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range. Lakes, forests, gardens, history, artists, farms, permaculture, ChillOut Festival, cafes – a great place to grow old together! Known for its welcoming attitude to lesbian and gay culture, as well as for its organic farms and thriving creativity, Daylesford will be a terrific setting for WINC.
